The system was designed to be completely grid-free, relying solely on solar energy to eliminate the need for underground wiring, which reduced installation costs and allowed for flexible placement.

To ensure durability and ease of maintenance, Ezylift hinged poles were used, allowing for ground-level servicing without the need for elevated platforms. This innovation streamlined installation and ensured long-term usability. The solar outdoor lights were also equipped with PIR motion sensors, enabling adaptive brightness that increases when movement is detected. This feature conserved energy during low-activity periods while providing enhanced security when needed.

Designed for reliability, the system delivers up to four nights of autonomy, even during Melbourne’s overcast winter conditions.
